Max Hayes Technical High School’s new home sits on the edge of Cleveland, Ohio and is a welcome new additional to the renaissance that is taking place in downtown Cleveland. The project resulted in well over a year of construction and gave a fresh look to the long dated designs of schools filling it with bright colors, new technology and contemporary design. 

Max Hayes floors proved to be a creative way to brighten up this large space that would primarily be used for CNC machine training, automobile training, electrical training and many other docues technical training.

Block walls in bright lime green and blue set the stage for computer and IT training to take place inside the building as well. Even the gymnasium kept with the color scheme and creative pallet the architect designed for the building with acoustical paneling and colorful ducks. 

Cleveland has always was known for its close proximity to Lake Erie and its strong unions, over the last few years the City secured funding to remodel and build new schools for most of the district making it home to one of the premier LEED buildings in Northeast Ohio.

Max Hayes Technical High School was a complete rebuild new construction project led by General Contractor The Albert M. Higley Co. The existing school stayed open while construction was underway. The project resulted in well over a year of construction and gave a fresh look to the long dated designs of schools filling it with bright colors, new technology and contemporary design.

Max Hayes floors proved to be a great creative way to brighten up this large space that would primary be used for CNC machine training, automobile training, electrical training and many other focused technical training. Utilizing five different colors and an array of shapes the floors paved the way for beautiful walkways throughout the school that any student would be happy to walk on.

This half million dollar-painting project took Summit Painting about a year to paint with the bulk being completed in the last three months before the school opened. This has become one of the top three largest projects Summit Painting  has completed in recent years and marked a great partnership with The Albert M. Higley Co., and the City of Cleveland.
